ABOUT ME
Welcome to Maths on demand. My name is Dana and I am a qualified secondary mathematics teacher. I completed my double Bachelor's degree (Bachelor of Science, majoring in Maths and Bachelor of Education) with honours at UNSW in 2013.
I have 7 years teaching experience in a co-ed secondary public school in Sydney and over 15 years of private tuition experience. Now as a mother I have taken a break from the regular teaching and moved with my husband and son up to QLD.
I completed my own high-schooling in a private school as well as doing education practicuums in two private schools, so I have a good understanding of both the public and private schooling systems.

With the Australian curriculum in force I have a thorough understanding of the mathematics curriculum for Years 7-10. I am well experienced in teaching the NSW Senior Maths courses up to Extension 1 and have tutored a selection of QLD Senior Maths courses over the past 2 years since moving here.

Maths on demand seeks to help students get the help when they need it.
Some students are blessed to have access to excellent teachers at school, others have the opportunity to access regular tuition, and some have older brothers/sisters, parents or other relatives who can help them when they need it. But others do not have that opportunity. And sometimes no one is available to help even if you usually have people around you that can.

Whilst there are some regular tutoring spots available, Maths on demand seeks to help in other ways too. One off sessions (when available) means Maths on demand can provide that extra help you need just before an exam or if you just need help for a particular topic.
